"Starting January, a whole new season demands that USC be on the ball!"

It is of no surprise that the USC Academy looks toward the future. A busy schedule starting January 2010 has everybody on alert, making sure that players and parents are aware of changes, schedules and plans.

Coaching Education:
nscaa In an on-going effort to receive the best education, two USC coaches travel to Fort Lauderdale on January 4, 2010, to complete their NSCAA National coaching diplomas.

USC in the Community:
On January 22, 2010, Toronto will experience its first professional soccer trade show.
Community Trust USC Academy will be an exhibitor among other academies, clubs, retailers and suppliers. The premiere of the Toronto International Soccer Show will take place in the Direct Energy Building at the CNE. Please visit USC at their booth (418) and show your academy colours.
It is promised to be the biggest and best soccer show ever, partially because it also features the first ever Futsal tournament in Canada.

saacSAAC participation:
In 2010, USC will field three teams, possibly four.
While the U8 situation is still unclear, work with the U10, U12 and U15 teams will start January 12. Competition starts in April.

Other competitive leagues:

owsl For the first time, USC will enter a U21 squad in the Ontario Women’s Soccer League (OWSL). Try-outs and training start mid January.
In order to have as many players as possible ‘play’ the game, USC will also aim to enter a U14 boys team into the TSA development league.
